1928

Two lower grades at Bell School in 1928 included Minlow Sanders, Flavel Townsend, Lee Locklear, Oveda Thomas, Elizabeth Martin, Lucille Whitfield, Anna Southerland (teacher) Rowina Farrell, Christinia Roberts, Lucille Thomas, Vinie Hill, Ernestine Walker, Celesta Durden, Myra Sanders, Estelle Bass, Effie McCollister, Emma Lee Mikell, Louise Waters, Muriel Taylor, Mary Hill, Linda Fowler, Agnes Bass, Annie Fowler, Mary Hays Roberts, Atha Wooley, Leon Kinsey, J. M. Wooley, O.S. Martin, Worth Roberson, Horace Thomas, Marlin Walker, Theodore Hilliard, Cecil Roberts, Ferrell Akins, J. C. Cannon, Woodrow Kinsey, Harold Slaughter, Barney Turney, J. P. Wooley, and Murle Prevatt.

1944

The Crystal Ice and Cold Storage Plant in Trenton will open October 16 to receive meat for curing. The plant will grind sausage meat this season.

1969

In April several members of the William T. Carlton Masonic Lodge of Trenton went to Jacksonville for the state wide Masonic meeting of the Grand Lodge. Attending from Gilchrist County were Eddie Mims Jr., Elwin Akins, Joe Wilson Sr., Tom Scott, Merrill Trammell and Hank Hand.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken at Dog Land in Fanning Springs was running a special of 50 cents off a bucket of chicken in June of 1969.
